Barbara’s life began on January 1, 1945 in Whitehall, IL. She is the daughter of Fred and Martha (Wanick) Luff. Barbara loved to read, watch her gameshows, play bingo, work her crossword puzzles and collect angel figures. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen Piper. Barbara is survived by her children Cheryl Reese of Winfield, Rebecca (Kris) Clubb of Wichita, Everett (Crescent) Reese of Wichita, Tina (Greg) Pryor of Pittsburg, Dale (Rebecca) Reese of Macon, GA, and Edward (Pearlie) Reese of Wichita; grandchildren Angie, Chasta, Christopher, Creshanna, Shelton, Tablitha, and Daniel; several great grandchildren; siblings Jim, Virgil, Clyde, Paul, Lloyd, Chuck, Mary and Betty and several nieces and nephews. Barbara passed away on December 18, 2017 in Pittsburg. Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by a son Leroy Reese, grandson Dakota and two brothers Rick, Don and Fred. Her family will gather with friends on Wednesday December 27th from 11-1 p.m. at Kirby Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado where her service will begin at 1 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita following the service.
