Jackie’s life began on December 1, 1932 in Kansas City, MO. She is the daughter of Charlie and Mabel H. (Clark) Van Kirk. Jackie worked for Qwest Communication in the business office until her retirement. She moved from Kansas to Washington State to be closer to family. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her children Elizabeth “Tina” (Floyd) Young of Port Orchard, WA and Randy (Patty) Adams of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Michael Watkins and Jennifer (Bryan) Mydske; great grandchildren Hailey, Sterling, Jay, Trinity, and Christopher; one brother and one sister. Jackie passed away on January 5, 2018 at the Washington Veteran’s Home in Port Orchard. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Vernon. Jackie’s family will gather with friends on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Kirby- Morris Funeral Home. Her graveside service led by Pastor Stan Seymour will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Restlawn Cemetery in Coffeyville.
