Robin J. Winkle

Robin Joleen Winkle was born on January 4, 1959 in Winfield, KS; the daughter of Gary and Vera (Kirkpatrick) Ostrander. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1977. On February 18, 1978, she was united in marriage to Harold Bruce Winkle, Jr. She worked for the Butler County Clerks office for several years. She enjoyed reading, crafting, and most importantly being a mother and grandmother. Robin passed away on April 12, 2024 in Wichita, KS. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Harold; daughters, Jessica (Bryan) Giesecke and Katie (Matt Althouse) Winkle; grandchildren, Deklan and Braden Giesecke and Lucas and Emma Althouse; siblings, Neal (Robin) Ostrander and Kami O’Donnell and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Friends may gather with family on Wednesday, April 17 from 5-7 at Carlson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Carlson Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18 at 10 AM and burial will immediately follow at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
