Bonnie Cooper went home to be with her heavenly father on October 16, 2020 at Susan B. Allen Hospital in El Dorado. She was born in Springfield, MO on September 11, 1940 to Ervin and Hannah (Morgan) Gwin. Bonnie retired after 36 years from Raytheon (Beech) as an inspector. She is preceded in death by her parents; son Mark Anthony Groves; grandson Joseph James Smith. Bonnie is survived by her husband Lewie; two daughters Anita North of Clearwater, KS, Paula Smith of Marysville, WA; 6 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. Friends may gather with the family from 5-7 on Monday, October 19 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 20 at Temple Baptist Church in El Dorado. Memorial contributions in Bonnie’s name may be directed to the VFW Post 1174 at 211 N. Main El Dorado, KS 67042 or to the American Heart Association.
