Donna’s life began on August 14, 1940 the daughter of Donald and Cleo (Weber) Blackburn and step father J.P. Weber in Chicago, IL. She graduated with her master’s degree in social services from Friends University. She loved playing bingo, visiting casinos and going on cruises. She was known as “Grandma Bingo” by her grandchildren and her foster children. She was involved in community theatre and enjoyed being social. She especially loved her two dogs Baby Boy Max and Molly Mae. Donna passed away on December 15, 2017 in Wichita. Her loving family includes her children Steve Edwards of Connecticut; daughters Denise Freilinger of Wichita, Dana Belknap of Wichita, Jackie (Richard) Sebbo of Andover and son Tim Rankin of Wichita; grandchildren Kristina Edwards, Cleo McQueary, Joshua Tankersley, Casey Belknap, Kristan Belknap, Ted Rankin, Jessica Kearney-Tripp, Brett Rankin, Tabitha Attreau and Russel Green; 13 great-grandchildren; multiple foster children and her beloved dogs, Baby Boy Max and Molly Mae. She is preceded in death by her grandson Eric McQueary, parents and stepfather J.P. Weber. Friends may gather with the family at 11 am on Wednesday December 20th at the Hope Community Church in Andover for her memorial service.
