Georgia L. Coffman

Georgia’s life began on October 3, 1952 in El Dorado. She is the daughter of Ralph Warren Young and Willie Louise (Sigman) Young. Georgia is a graduate of Luther High School in Luther, OK. and attended Butler County Community College. She was united in marriage to Alan Coffman on September 3, 1971 at the Valley Center United Methodist Church. Georgia enjoyed country western dancing and used to enter dance competitions with Alan. She played the piano for many years and enjoyed board games and reading. Georgia and Alan travelled all through Europe and road trips around the country. Georgia had a huge collection of cookbooks and loved watching her TV shows. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her husband Alan Coffman of El Dorado; daughter April (Anthony) Olson of Augusta; grandchildren Austin, Aubrey and Autumn Olson; great grandchild Kaiser Buess and her two half-sisters Linda Young-Givens of CA and Nancy Conner of Fl. Georgia passed away at her home on January 23, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents. Her family will gather with friends on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Kirby Morris Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
