Helen M Anderson

Maxine was born February 12, 1937 in Osborne, KS. She is the daughter of Ralph and Vivian (Jenkens) Scott. She is a 1955 graduate of El Dorado High School. Maxine enjoyed woodworking, leatherwork, fishing and collecting frogs. Her greatest joy was her family which includes three sons Robert Pennington of Parsons, Bradley (Dee) Pennington of McPherson and Scott (Bobbie) Pennington of Colorado Springs, CO.; her brother Bill (Sue) Scott of Missouri; grandchildren Amanda (Jerry) Morton, Melissa Canterbury, George (Veronica) Pennington, Julie Pennington, Judilyn Pennington; 15 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; and many cousins, extended family and friends. Maxine passed away on December 19, 2018 at Lake Point of El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sister Connie and Sharon, and a grandson Jason Pennington. Maxine’s family will gather with friends on Wednesday 12/26 from 5-7 p.m. at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Leon Cemetery.
