Jimmie Lu Boucher

Jimmie’s life began on August 10, 1927 in Winfield. She is the daughter of Fred and Medaline (Clayton) Anderson. Jimmie is a 1946 graduate of El Dorado High School and a 1948 graduate of the Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Jimmie was united in marriage to Milford L. Boucher on September 27, 1948 at the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado. She was a nurse for many years at area hospitals including Susan B. Allen, AMCI, Winfield and Wesley. She retired from nursing two months after her 79th birthday. Jimmie was a member of the Douglass Church of Christ. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and taking care of her family. Jimmie’s loving family includes her children Alan (Jane) Boucher of Leon and Lu Anne Boucher of Latham; grandchildren Hank Boucher, Emmett Boucher, Angie (Robert) Cerney, Cassie (Shawn) Herrman, and Jason (Stacy) Small and great grandchildren Olivia Boucher, Kendall Cerney, Samhain Cerney, Seth Cerney, Brent Herrman, Mason Herrman, Delaney Herrman, Gauge Small and Kaden Small. Jimmie passed away on Sunday April 14, 2019 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Milford, daughter Kay Small and grandson Tyson Weishaar.
