Karen’s life began on August 26, 1964 in Joliet, IL. She is the daughter of Dr. Donald and Diane (Pitman) Bebak. Karen is a graduate of Kapaun- Mt. Carmel High School and Magdalen College in Bedford, NH. She received a Master’s Degree from Wichita State University. Karen was the Director of Religious Education at St. John’s Parish in El Dorado for several years after holding several DRE positions in Colorado. She also taught religion at K-M-C and Bishop Carroll. She is survived by her parents Don and Diane Bebak, her brother Father Brian Bebak, her son Dominic Ebersole and her former husband Larry Ebersole. Karen passed away on November 7, 2017 in Wichita. Family and friends will gather on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. for a rosary prayer at St. John’s Catholic Church, El Dorado where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. led by her brother Father Brian Bebak.
