On November 11, 1925 Andy and Nellie (Dougherty) Elliott of Hardesty, OK were blessed with the birth of their daughter Nina Mae, the 10th of 11 children. She married her high school sweetheart, Wilford E. Phares on June 29, 1945. They lovingly enjoyed nearly 67 years of marriage, living almost 60 years in El Dorado. She was a faithful member of the El Dorado First Christian Church, a CWF President, circle leader and Victory Class member. On December 27, 2017 Nina went to be with her Heavenly Father, the angels, her loving husband and family members. Nina’s loving family includes her daughter Linda Harris, grandson Brent Harris and great granddaughter Mya Harris all of Wichita; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will miss her dearly. Nina is preceded in death by her husband, Wilford; grandson Chad Harris; her parents, son in law Guy Harris and 10 siblings. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the El Dorado First Christian Church.
