Robert "Bob" Eugene Parry

Robert “Bob” Parry’s life began on July 1, 1940 in El Dorado, KS; the son of Ray V. and Irene M. (Van Horn) Parry. He was a 1958 graduate of El Dorado High School. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy working in Aviation Electronics. He was united in marriage to Martha Duncan on August 28, 1965 at Naval Air Station Barber’s Point, Hawaii. They were married 55 years. In Bob’s spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and amateur photography. He absolutely loved spending time with his grandsons and was an all around family man. His loving family includes his wife Martha of Benton; sons Doug (Jeanne) Parry of Paxico, KS and Daryn (Andrea) Parry of Borger, TX; grandchildren Lanson Parry, Rhett Parry, Gage Parry, Gavin Parry and Grant Parry; sibling Patty Jo (James) Grove of El Dorado. Bob passed away on August 31, 2020 in Wichita. He is preceded in passing by his parents and grandparents. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be directed to the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Wichita.
