Rocky Lee Storm, 61, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away on January 6, 2022.
Rocky was born in El Dorado, KS on May 2, 1960. He graduated from El Dorado High School where he then went on to work in different industries including roofing, oil drilling services before working in various positions within House of Schwan for 20 years.
Rocky was married to Brenda Dryden on November 14, 1986, for 16 years and continued to be best friends upon death. The marriage was blessed by sons Jared and Garrett.
Rocky enjoyed his work at House of Schwan where he was labeled “The Bud Man”. He also enjoyed walking his late dog Izzy all around town. Love and support of his children was a top priority as they were growing up and continued to show the same for his grandchildren.
Rocky is survived by mother, Ozella Storm of El Dorado, KS; soulmate, Brenda Storm of Augusta, KS; sons, Jared Storm (grandchildren Paxton and Ellison) of El Dorado, KS and Garrett Storm (wife Molly and grandchildren Aubrey and Baylor) of Lenexa, KS; siblings, Rebecca Jane Worthington (husband Don) of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, Betty Beneke of Wichita, KS, Roger Storm (wife Kathy) of El Dorado, KS, John Storm (wife Susan) of Wichita, KS, Deanna Turner (husband Lloyd) of El Dorado, KS; and all the cherished nieces, nephews and other family whom Rocky loved.
Rocky is preceded in death by father, Ollen Storm; brothers, Larry Storm and Steve Storm; sister, Gale Storm; nephews, Greg Storm and Brian Worthington.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00PM on January 14, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Augusta, Kansas. Burial will follow the funeral at Towanda Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Carlson Funeral Home.
