Theonia "Nadine" Wilson

Theonia’s life began on March 29, 1925 in Winfield. She is the daughter of Claude and Beulah (Cook) Lumbert. Theonia is a graduate of Winfield High School. She was united in marriage to Frederick Wilson on September 30, 1945 in Winfield. Theonia had worked for Roper-Lanco in Andover for several years as well as other area businesses. She enjoyed crocheting, water aerobics at the YMCA, and travelling. Theonia was a member of the First Christian Church and TOPS. Her loving family includes her children Frederick Wilson, Jr of El Dorado, Larry (Judy) Wilson of El Dorado, William (Grace) Wilson of Tulsa, OK, David (Debra) Wilson of El Dorado, John Wilson of El Dorado, Patricia “Pat” McCurdy of El Dorado, and Karen (John) Glaves of El Dorado; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Theonia passed away on Thursday August 23, 2018 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Frederick and son in law Bob McCurdy. Her family will gather with friends on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the Carlson Colonial Chapel. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church led by Pastor Stan Seymour. She will be laid to rest in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
