Thomas Martin Johnson

Tom’s life began on February 24, 1954 in El Dorado. He is the son of Ray and Anna (Davis) Johnson. Tom is a 1972 graduate of El Dorado High School. He was united in marriage to Sandra Davis on November 21, 1977 in Oklahoma City. Tom worked as the service manager for John K. Fisher Buick, Cadillac, and GMC for many years. He had also worked for O’Reilly’s Auto Parts and most recently for ACE Hardware in El Dorado. He loved working on cars, and motorsports including dirt and drag racing. Tom enjoyed boating, camping and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His loving family includes his wife Sandra Johnson of El Dorado; children Rhonda Johnson of El Dorado, Wendi Johnson of Wichita, Heather Johnson of El Dorado and Jeremy Johnson of El Dorado; grandchildren Gage Lara, Hannah Lara, Gavyn Phillips, Brooke Dobson and Kayli Johnson; great granddaughter Emily McFadden; siblings Chester Johnson of El Dorado, Carla (Harold) Gum of Denver, Beverly Greenlee of El Dorado and Bobbie (Pat) Butler of Denver and several nieces and nephews. Tom passed away at his home on March 15, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Raymond (Peggy) Johnson and his sister Sharon (Milton) Graham. His family will gather with friends on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Carlson Colonial Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Towanda Cemetery.
