Vera Lockhart

Vera’s life began on November 10, 1935 in El Dorado; the daughter of Walter and Vera (Ehrlich) Thomas. Vera was united in marriage to Troy Lockhart on May 23, 1953 in Rogers, AR. She worked for over 25 years at Century Plastics, retiring as a machinist. Vera enjoyed fishing, mud runs and enjoyed watching her children compete in rodeos. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her children Linda Osborne of El Dorado, Rick (Kathy) Lockhart of Rock, KS, Trish Boucher of El Dorado; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and brother, Roy Thomas of El Dorado. Vera passed away on March 8, 2020 in El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her husband, Troy; son, Casper and her parents. Friends may gather with the family from 10-11am on Thursday, March 12 at Carlson Funeral Home where her funeral service will also be held at 11 am. Vera will be laid to rest at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home to help the family defray funeral expenses.
