Loriene, Linda, Jim,

Lynn called to let me know of James's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Rest assured that he is gone only in body. His soul, spirit and your (our) memories of James will always be here.

I can not think of my childhood with out remembering all of the good times that our families shared together. Whether water skiing, fishing, hunting, trips to Padre Island or just getting together to play ten point pitch. One of the strongest memories involved the movie camera. How many times do you think that we watched my dad fall off of the saucer only to jump right back on when James reversed the film? How many times did we here the story about ending up at the Dallas zoo when traveling through at night on the way to Padre Island? It brought laughter and playful banter among the grown ups. I'm pretty sure my mom got blamed for that because of her map reading skills.

When Lynn and I talked, we shared a few tears, but mostly laughter from the wonderful memories that James helped create. I hope that your sadness will be lessened by your memories of your husband/ dad.

Loriene, Linda, Jim,
So many special, special memories our families have shared. But one especially precious to me is James's and my shared love for dill pickles. Rarely do I eat dill pickles without thinking of this sweet, gentle kind man whom I loved as family.
Looking forward to seeing you Tuesday and be prepared for many tears, laughs and HUGS! As always and with love,
Lynn

Loriene, Linda and Jim, we were saddened when we learned about Jim's passing. A lot of my favorite childhood memories involve your family. In my way of thinking,, we were all part of the same family. A memory that I cherish is the first time I shot a shotgun we were with Jim. Please know that you will always have a special place in my heart. Love to you and your families. Steve
